To run a commercially successful thought leaders practice, you want to be speaking and writing all the time.
Listen to the blog here.
Focus the head of your practice on these two activities. Speak anywhere and everywhere for free or for a fee. And write a minimum of 500 words a day. These two activities will drive your practice and your future growth.
Each speech you give creates commercial conversations that can drive all your programs and offerings. When you focus on writing daily, you produce books, blogs and posts that are well-considered and significant. Your social game will shift from following and liking to publishing and setting the tone.
Refrain from talking about training, facilitation or coaching on your website. Sell these. Don’t position them. When you, the author/speaker, offer an intimate workshop, we feel like we have something special. Position yourself and drive your practice towards the two main tell modes of Speaker and Author. Everything else falls in line with these two activities.
We make sure that members of our Business School are crafting and delivering excellent presentations and understand the role these play in driving new business. We also focus members of our school towards publishing a book in their first year. Two core deliverables that drive commercial growth.
