Whatever the story you tell yourself about 2025, it's worth noting that a positive, upbeat, hopeful, transpersonal narrative has been shown to increase success.
Listen to the blog here.
We are almost 50 days into 2025!
As I write this, I wonder what stories it creates for us.
"It's looking good, 2025 seems to have some commercial buoyancy."
"Damn, here I am again, big plans, small execution. I might never make a New Year's resolution again."
Whatever the story you tell yourself about 2025, it's worth noting that a positive, upbeat, hopeful, transpersonal narrative has been shown to increase success. I heard once that ‘Pessimists might be accurate, but optimists are more successful.' To be positive is one thing, to be optimistic is another, but to be hopeful is more agentic and doable.
Have hope, believe in magic and do the work. In our recent quarterly conference for the Thought Leaders Business School, we focused on the theme of doing the work. In my masterclass, I spoke about the power of our self-talk to take us offline and how we might be able to orient ourselves to a warmer inner dialogue. I referenced the great work of Professor Ethan Kross and presented a model on self-love you might find helpful.
Here is the masterclass.
Some ways we can help?
